And if it's not bad for some crops, I know the extended heat is bad for the people trying to do the work.

The crazy weather we're having makes me wonder how it's affecting agricultural industry, esp. that in the San Joaquin Valley. I have enough trouble trying to keep my backyard plants alive and I'm located in normally mild Berkeley, CA. Anyone have any news on which harvests are in jeopardy.

I have to say I haven't tasted a really good peach all summer. Our late rains here messed everything up.
