crisp, yes - - tangy? pretty simple mild sweet flavor in my experience -
some have a hint of petroleum about them - ate some Shinko yesterday and
they were a treat, better than at harvest - Korean Giant is very good here,
as is Kosui as an early variety - trees of Kosui have been pretty tender and
suceptable to fireblight -
