Can anyone help this person out? He lives in Iowa and I in western
Washington. You can write directly to him.

Thanks,

Subject: Korean pear

Dear Madam or Sir:

Are there varieties of Korean (Asian) pear trees that would withstand the
winters of northern Iowa or southern Minnesota? Do you have any information
on planting/growing conditions and precautions? How hardy are they and are
they susceptible to insects and diseases? Would they work well with an
organic operation?
