Marv from Montana says, " The best time to use Round up to kill a hard to
kill plant is just before freeze up in the fall. When the plant is
starting to take the nutrients down to store for winter it will also take
the chemical down deeper and therefore do a better job of killing that
plant, also the stress of winter adds to your success. We have been using
this time of the year here in dry land wheat area to kill hard to kill
grasses in no till farming with great success and with less chemical."
