The easiest way I've found to reduce to eliminate this Southwest injury
"sunscald" is to paint the south and southwest side of trees with white latex
paint. I apply it with a pump-up weed sprayer. 50% paint 50%
water. I can treat a tree a minute. It stopped the problem here near
Denver.
