Several years ago, I budded an heirloom white clingstone peach, grown from seed by my grandmother, who's been gone for 30 years, onto Nanking cherry(P.tomentosa), for my dad. It's still going strong, though quite dwarfed - not over 5 ft tall. Bloomed heavily this spring.
