Someone complained today:
"And, it is not what NAFEX is all about. Kindly stick to the subject."
This is an opportunity for self-reflection...
According to the NAFEX website,
"NAFEX Purpose:
To aid and encourage fruit exploration in its broadest context"
Also from the website
"A number of members are primarily variety collectors, and some
experiment to breed new cultivars. Others labor to produce good fruit
crops under marginal conditions."
Growing fruit indoors in pots gives the fruit explorer an opportunity to
experiment with fruit growing in the dead of winter. I would consider
indoors a marginal condition. Other than collecting scionwood for the
coming grafting season, what other topics are more appropriate for
discussion this time of year than growing fruit indoors in pots?
