I think I've mentioned this before in passing--now I'd like a little input. I do have 2 "nana" pomegranates that I feel are worthwhile having around just to have the fuchsia-type blossoms in the middle of winter. However I have never had fruit-set. I have not done research: are these flowers complete and just need jiggling or do they need some sort of cross-pollination? Now you've got my curiosity up. I grew them from seedings more for bonsai, but a fruiting would be fun too!I've seen 'Nana' flowering and fruiting - outdoors - in the St. Louis Zoo; but, I can't swear that they don't 'bring them in' for the winter - or, maybe even totally replace them every year. You may just need to do some hand-pollenation.
