Hello,
I have an Improved Snow apple grafted on wild rootstock. This season I grafted a pollenator on the tree which is an Alexis crabapple.
The Improved Snow is still holding all of it's leaves. The Alexis crabapple graft dropped all it's leaves with the first/second frost.
It must be varietal based dormancy.
Later,
Tom
