Ray,
I have seedlings of both Italian Stone Pine and Sugar Pine. My Italian Stone
produced its first cones at 13 years and really took off at 15 years. Send
me the address off line and I'll mail them off. Forest Farm Nursery,
www.forestfarm.com, has Pinus maximartinenzii. This grows what might be the
largest pinenuts of any species. I want to grow this, but it is a zone 9
plant. It would probably be right at home in California.
