- Subject: [NAFEX] Cayenne Paint
- Date: Thu, 21 Oct 2004 06:48:53 -0700 (PDT)
Last year voles stripped 20 bush cherries, 10 grape
vines and 9 blackberry plants to the ground. These
plants do not lend themselves well to window screen
proctection like trees do. So , while putting white
latex on the south side of my trees this week, I
decided to add a few tablespoon of cayenne powder to
the paint and cover the lower couple feet of grapes,
black berries and bush cherries. Has anyone tried
this?
I can imagine that the pepper is actually so coated
with paint that the voles will never notice it.
Any other product to add to paint to make 'em run?
