On Saturday, October 23rd, three chapters of Western Cascade Fruit Society are holding their Fall Fruit Shows around the Puget Sound area. 

 

North Olympic Fruit Club’s Fall Fruit Show is at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, in Port Townsend, WA from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.  There’s an apple pie baking contest with cash prizes, tasting tables, fruit displays, grafting demonstrations, orchard mason bee boxes, one-of-a-kind grafted fruit trees, cider pressing, and more.

Seattle Tree Fruit Society’s Fall Fruit Show is in Factoria Mall in Bellevue, WA from 10 a.m.- 4 pm. There’ll be apple identification, fruit displays, tasting tables, a Corell Cider Press raffle, seminars on mason bees, tree development, growing blueberries and brewing hard cider.

Peninsula Fruit Club’s Fall Fruit Show will be at the Country Nursery and Garden in Bremerton, WA from 10 a.m.-3 pm. They’ll have fruit displays, tasting tables, demonstrations, and the growers will be on hand.
