One of our fruit club members sewed apple bags from a light weight row

cover with a twist tie collar. It’s keeping the apples protected from insects and

birds, allowing light to penetrate and water to pass through. Seems to be

working very well.

I used Baggies to cover my apples.  I had them pretty much done by mid May. I have already observed significant coddling moth damage on the uncovered apples.  We have had 90 degree weather already.  The apples in the Baggies seem to be progressing well. Naomi in Idaho
