The Dietz plums are a series of #1, #2, #3 plums. All 3 are similar and are
supposed to be resistant to a bug, I think its plum curculio. I received all
three from a guy in the midwest who left NAFEX because he said he was
harassed by those in NAFEX who believed spray was necessary to raise fruit;
he's growing 500 varieties of fruit with no spray.
I found one Dietz still alive, I think it's #3. It's weak because its
grafted on a weak, sprout rootstock.
