Hello gord and all of you raspberry lovers,
I just got on the email list and did not get any info from your demand
on Anelma,
Comet, Festival, Souris and Madawaska raspberries i.e. hardiness, taste,
disease susceptibility, harvest?
Web: www.red-raspberry.org
this web site from Washington say's that Souris is susceptible to spur
blight. Lareault a nursery says that Festival is susceptible to orange
rust but Washington's website says it is resistant to spur blight.
I had ordered 50 Souris for the spring but now I amn wandering about
trying Anelma.
Madawaska is suppose to be tolerant to spur blight.
Nova is supposed to be very disease resistant but some say its fruit can
be too acid while others say it is excellent. I will have a few fruits
this year from Madawaska planted last august.
I would also like to know more about Double Delight a primocane and
floricane from Saskatchewan.
