Folks,
I received this message from Cliff England this morning.

I dislike being the carrier of bad news and words will not describe how much he will be missed but I must inform you that Henry Converse today early this morning Sunday 17 2003 has passed away after being stricken with a stroke over 1 month ago.

Services will be Wednesday at 10;00 in Paducah KY. Information regarding services can be obtained at 270 554 8971

Henry Converse had devoted a lifetime to discovering and growing all manner of fruits and nuts, and has been a long-time member and until recently, secretary-treasurer of the Kentucky Nut Growers Association.
With Henry goes a wealth of knowledge, and any of you who've had occasion to receive a letter in his quirky, train-of-consciousness style of writing, I'm sure will be aware of the loss we've all experienced.
