Title: Re: [NAFEX] Doc Farwell's grafting seal I've used it for years and wouldn't use anything else. It's latex, so it's non-toxic, it stretches as the graft grows, so there is no flaking off or girdling of the graft due to hardened graft compounds, and the bright yellow color makes it easy to spot old grafts on the tree for several years. Makes a great wound compound, too. (Farwell's sells the same material in a different color and slightly thinner formulation as wound paint, but the graft compound works as well.)
Just be sure the jar doesn't freeze, and stir it well. If it starts to thicken, just add water and stir.

Anybody have opinions about Doc Farwell's grafting seal? The closest
I've come is the catalog description, which sounds good, but isn't a lot
to go on.
