Thanks, Lon.  By the way, if anyone is interested, I did NOT tell the printer to put that old registration form in; I am sorry that it happened.  Next time, I guess I'll have to tell them to be sure NOT to put it in!

Jerry Lehman has said he will take the American persimmon chair.  I don't have his address handy, but his e-mail is:"Jerry Lehman" <Jwlehman@aol.com>
You can get his address from the roster.  I'll try to get anything else as soon as I can.

Dear Group,

If this came through before, please ignore it; I got a message back
saying that it had been held up because I was not a member of the list.
So I'll try it this way.  Thanks!

If you are a leader of a Fruit/Nut Interest group, please check your
listing here for the next Pomona; if all is fine, don't do anything. But
if there is a correction to be made, please send it to me by Friday,
Feb. 28. Thanks so much.

NAFEX FRUIT & NUT INTEREST GROUPS

To receive a reply, correspondence must include a self-addressed,
stamped envelope. Interest groups allow members to participate directly
in NAFEX through sharing experiences and interests with others of like
mind. In turn, IGs share with NAFEX through Pomona. Share your
experiences, reading and research. Groups work on variety exploration,
cultural methods, collecting and testing varieties, breeding, variety
history, or anything else connected with fruit and nut growing. You can
make a single contribution to a group or be a long-term member. To ask a
question, join a group, or just share something, contact the chairperson
of a group. Join as many as you like.
People interested in chairing or starting new IGs should contact the
Interest Groups Coordinator. It is an excellent way to learn about the
fruit or nut involved, and it takes only enthusiasm and a bit of time.
Please send all additions or corrections to: Interest Groups
Coordinator, Lon J. Rombough, PO Box 365, Aurora, OR 97002-0365. Phone
