- Subject: [NAFEX] A Sprouting Apple?
- Date: Wed, 30 Oct 2002 09:27:56 -0500
I picked up a few apples at the Piggly Wiggly the other day which
attracted me by their beauty. They were marked as #4130 from New
Zealand, "Pink Lady".
It was good flavored and acceptable in texture but when I halved it
there were sprouts rather than seeds.
Any one had this experience with apples? I can't imagine what kind of
conditions/treatment could cause this. Any ideas?
