Dear Lostman,

Aluminum Sulfate can be used as a soil acidifying agent but aluminum
salts can be toxic if ingested in large amounts, particularly in people with
kidney diseases where they can accumulate. Sulfur is frequently recommended
to acidify soil for blueberries along with peat moss.
