Has anyone in the Northeast experienced plants breaking dormancy when
they normally would not? I thought daylight hours or lack of them would
have more influence. So far my horseradish is 4-5 inches tall! Usually,
whether I dig it in late fall or early spring, it isn't topped by any
new growth. I hope this does not affect the quality and flavor.
How about Flemish Beauty Pear, does any one have any idea how many
chilling hours it requires? I have one potted up and want to bring it
in, but it's been too warm and all my storage has apples in it so that
won't work.
