first....tom asked some time back what was a minimum scion diameter. Last
year I acquired a tiny (under 1/16" or 1.7mm) haralred and cleft grafted
onto prunifolia....now its grown 14" this year.
a question on bud graft prep....on failed prunus grafts, I'm hoping to
bud-graft onto this years new rootstock growth .....is it better to keep
tipping the chosen leader (to increase it's diameter) or just let it go? (
and of course snip off other sprouts) Del
