You might try looking at 

http://www.ars-grin.gov/gen/malus_titl1.html

click on "List of accessions in core subset"

A list of apple cultivars will pop up.  Most of those cultivars have
*photos* if you click on the hypertext link.  You asked for artwork..so
I do not know if photos will help you out.  I also do not know how USDA
handles copyright issues.
