Subject: [nafex] QOFEX Quebec, Ontario Fruit Explorers

Hello List,

In a previous post I mentioned that we were starting up OFEX, a regional NAFEX like group for the Ontario province.

Based on some good advice of Claude Jolicoeur, we have expanded the region that the group will cover.

As Claude put it so well;

"As far as Canadian regions are concerned for fruit growing, there are quite natural separations:
- Maritimes with a climate which is a bit like England (wetter and milder)
- Quebec and Ontario
- Prairies which are much colder in winter
- BC which already have their small association."

So with that in mind we shelved OFEX and went with QOFEX (Quebec Ontario Fruit Exploreres).

So if you are interested in the new regional group we can be found here;

The new group name also gave use a great logo;

Sorry for any confusion, this change may cause.

Tom
