I have sent some that haven't shown up also, thought it was my error, but couldn't find them except in the sent folders-go figure.

I just sent 3 posts to the list and only one was distributed.  The
other two are AWOL, so far.  Has anyone else had similar problems
        sending posts to MSAR-Riders?

Una, try checking your drafts or sent folders... maybe they got hung up in Q.
If they are there.. just resend.

Una, Lilia, et al, if you found them in the sent or draft folders, try debugging your computer....that may be it or just too many sends at once....overloading the system boogling the pcs mind.  Much is the case with dialup.. too many sends and the system is too slow to boot them out.

We have been having a terrible time occassionally with trying to get information to the PC's by phone. Probably not your issue, but for those out in the field...sometimes it is because of overload in sending too many peices of mail at once or sometimes it is bad antenna reception and signal.  The phone company is trying to tell me that due to the heavy forest, the trees are blocking the signal.. now I am not sure if I am beleiving that, but it does occur on more than one phone here when we are in a certain location.  We have cased the system 9 ways to Sunday trying to get to the culprit... When we are elsewhere.. no problem. the messages get sent instantly.  So, trees, hmmm maybe.  The Phone company and the electric company has told me too, that trees in the lines can disrupt the electrical system...UGH.. people need to get after those trees...it messes the communications systems, causes power failures and other stooopid glitchy things that the PC's and electronics can be very sensitive too.

Its shear stupidity if you have trees growing in your lines to let them be.  People need to take care of them.  The trees can cause so many other issues on down the line.  Takes other people off the grid in storms, or even when not stormy.

And sometimes water on the lines disrupts the flow of the PC as well as heat.  Computers like cooler temps.  They run smother.

Anyway.. back to your PC...
Go to start.  Click on that.  Then click My Computer, left click on local c disk then click properties.  You should see a gragh with a pie.  Go to tools, click on error checking and a window will come up that has two boxes to check.  Check them and follow the prompt.  Next time your PC shuts down it will error check and maybe give you more disk space.  If you do this daily it will help.  It could be that you just have an error in your system preventing the PC from loading full programs hence lost mail?  Dont know, but it cant hurt to try.  You can also run other error checking there too.

Hope that helps.  I always try to clean up the  PC system first, then if that does not work, then keep looking for the next source of trouble giving me errors.  Sometimes its a virus, other times not.

On those cell phones.. its heat, moisture, dirt...they can gunk the works up.   On the PCs, dust can mess with it too.  And havent we all messed a keyboard up by laughing at a good joke now and again spilling our coffee!
Try those, if that dont work, call your tree surgeon or tech.  Just my humble thoughts here.

And yep, those dang trees can boop up the send if they are bouncing on the electric wires.  The PC's can be that sensitive to the glitch so look around.. maybe thats your interference.

Ok, now, anyone got a suggestion on keeping those cell phones clean on the trail?  Humidity, dirt and sweat.. whats your hint?  Thanks!
