Cool, thanks for the info.  I don't know if the state does have a MSAR cert process.  I really don't know where to look.  I've just joined recently and I have the most computer access so the guys heading the group up have me doing the leg work here.  We are prepared to pay somebody to come in  to TTT.  It's just finding someone local that can do that for us.  Our theory is once one of us is a certified trainer we can then ceritfy members as needed.

Again, thanks for the info.  I'll see what I can come up with from that.

First, what you are looking for is a train the trainer (TTT) opportunity, not team certification.  Does Indiana have a MSAR certification process, either individual or team level?  If you are looking for training (which you will most likely have to pay for) make sure it fits your state program, and that it is TTT if at all possible.

Do you have any info on Mounted Search and Rescue certified trainers in the NE Indiana area.  We are a new unit that is looking to be certifed.  Our problem that we are running in to is that there are no trainers in this general area to come in to certify one person so they can in turn certify others in the area.  The only certifiers we can locate are in Florida and California.  If you have any info that would be helpful and greatly appriecated.  Thank You  Jennifer
