I did have an equalizer bar break on the Interstate quite a few years ago. He did walk out of the wreck and load onto a small 2 horse Hartman ramp afterwards and a few days later on a large step up stock for the ride home.  He loads fine, if he can see inside (no black holes), but he rides nervous and keeps track  of how many times he loads during exercises—after the third cycle he wants back to the barn. He also thinks that if he gets on he can get off right away if the door is open, but he won’t crash a door.
