There has been some discussion as to typing and possible
interaction between SAR organizations. A critical factor in such interaction is
the ability to talk to each other via radio. What I want to do is
collect data as to what type of radio system your organization uses in the
field. If you have programmable radios the band is sufficient. If you cannot change
frequencies in your radios in the field please indicate what frequencies you
use. A sample response is below: SE PA, 10 148-174 VHF FM portables 2 800MHz digital trunk portables (usable only on
home county system) The feds have declared that interoperability is required
