Hi Lynn in Long Beach CA. Have you looked over the list of CA
MSAR units on http://www.ibiblio.org/msar/units/ ? Those are
all the units I have located on the web. (I try to exclude any
units that are strictly parade posses; if they say they do SAR
then I list them. Many of us here on MSAR-Riders are or have
been members of a unit that struggles to define its purpose...)
There are several MSAR units in Los Angeles County, and perhaps
some units in adjacent counties, that might be a little closer
to you than Big Bear is.
