Good suggestion. If the MSAR riders are miles away,
they end up not attending the ground SAR training that should be their
foundation. Horse camping at the conference facility is also good training for
being prepared for an overnight at a SAR base camp. If there is enough space
available for rigs with horse trailers, and MSAR agrees to clean up the area
(manure) prior to departure, keeping MSAR with the rest of SAR at a conference
is advantageous.
I got the impression that this clinic is
pre-conference, so it would make sense to stay at the facility where the clinic
is using an arena, etc. But for the SAR conference it would certainly be better
to relocate to the conference grounds.
