Being new, I am trying to soak up as much as I can in a short space of time and have quite a few questions about the way you do things, but one that jumped out and grabbed me were articles on night searching. When I first joined our team, night searching was forbidden using horses due to so called unseen dangers. The folk running the team then were not even into night time rides. I have since becoming training officer, I have taken the team out on night rides under bright moon lit nights but still hadn't considered using horses at night for a search. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has performed a night search with the circumstances, additional equipment and the success ogf night searches and when you would use it.
Thanks for your time
Paul
