My son bought a used Toughbook on eBay to use in the shop and outside and has been happy with how rugged it is.
He also set up a wireless router in the barn for wi-fi in the barn and high tunnels near the barn.

Hi folks,
I’d like to be able to enter data directly into a computer in my hoop houses or fields. I’m guessing that computers don’t like dirty, high temp, high humidity environments but thought I’d ask what experiences you all have had using a computer in the field or hoop house. Perhaps a tablet would be more reliable? Any experiences you all would care to share would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Roy
