- Subject: [Market-farming] Ag Squared update

We’ve talked about Ag Squared here in the past, but it’s
been awhile. I trialed the software sometime in 2012 and decided it wasn’t
for me. Didn’t even attempt to use it in 2013, and continued my use of
customized Excel spreadsheets instead. My main dislike of AgSquared (and a lot
of planning software) was that I had to pay a monthly fee, and most of the data
was stored online. I feared I’d not have access to it when I needed it,
so I stuck with my annoying but available Excel. Having said that, I did graduate to some online planning software
for the business and household end of things during 2013, and in general I’ve
been pretty happy with that change. Then this morning I got a reminder that
AgSquared subscriptions will go up in 2014, but they’ve added new
features, and if I renew now I’d get the 2013 pricing. Hmmm. Perhaps
it’s time for another look? For those of you who have used it or continue to use it, how
was it to work with day-in-day-out during 2013? Likes? Dislikes? Additional
comments? If you’re not using AgSquared, what are you using instead? Kathryn Kerby Frogchorusfarm.com |
