Loosing English Peas to seed maggots, understand it is the larve of the wireworm/click beetle. Because of our wet and cold spring weather in Middle Tennessee we are seeing more of them. Any suggestions on how we can get rid of them? We have been to our Extension Office, recommendation was to use Bifenthrin. Seeking other option please!

I just checked the MSDS and mixing instructions.
Good grief, how do you mix 1.15 grams per five gallons!? I know, use a
scale.. Seems a bit much to buy a pound of this stuff when it will
last me with ten acres a looooong time.

This is why growers team up and buy together and share!

I was reading Small Farmers Journal last night about Eric and Anne
Nordell's. Always my first
article when they have one in the Journal.
They use Entrust pesticide. I just looked it up at:
http://www.keystonepestsolutions.com/entrust-naturalyte-insecticide-1-pound-omri-listed-certified-organic-spinosad-266.htmlCheck it out. I can't believe the price is $590 per pound. I hope
something is wrong with this site.
Any comment? Who can afford Entrust?
