I'll also warn you that we wives learn in Wifey School to never let
husbands sit idle for very long. So this project she's got lined up for
you? The shape of your future. Sorry to be the one to break the news
to you. But congrats on the retirement! Glad you'll be staying
on the list. I look forward to hearing about all your post-retirement work
projects (big grin).

You know what we always say, Bill, make sure when you site your first
one, there is room for at least one more, because after a season, you will
WANT at least one more.

Yep, that's me. Thanks Tom, I appreciate it. But I'm just retiring from
the University, not my love of growing. I'll stick around on this list. I
enjoy the people on this list and doing my best to help out when I can. Of
course, I may be awful busy. My wife wants me to build our own Hi-Tunnel,
and I'm sure there'll be more after that.

Please pardon me for the kinda off topic
message, but, if my guess is correct, this should be of interest to all of
us growers.
Mr. Bill Shoemaker deserves well-wishes and a round of kudos. He
deserves them! (That is if The Bill Shoemaker written up in this
month's Fruit Grower's New is the same one who contributes here.)
