I have the IH equivalent of the John Deere 71. Parts and the complete seeder are still available through Yetter. I've used it for sweet corn and it did a good job.

Anyone have experiences with planters such as the cole 12mx or John Deere 71s, etc. I'm looking for something to do primarily corn, beans, cucurbits, etc. Specifically our soils where the crops go tend to be gravelly and stony. We also plant into higher residue / zone tilled strips.
Experiences appreciated.
Also anyone using the mcnifty gravity flow side dressers or similar side dressers with natural materials such as fertells blended starters, etc. Do you get good flow, etc.?
Thanks
Brian
