What are you calling a "standard unit"?
My 18,000 btu 220 ac on Coolbot is very affordable to operate. I figure around $35 monthly. My walk-in is a 7'x9' stone building heavily insulated on the inside and I feel that this is SUPER cheap for what it does for my operation.

I have heard that the cool bot increases energy costs compared to a standard unit?  Can anyone corroborate?
