I sometimes grow cowpeas as a summer cover crop. If your looking for a pea
variety that can be grown and harvested for tendrils in the summer heat
without fussing around with shade I think cow pea is worth a try... Bob.

Sue and Nan; thank you. This is helpful.
I am going to go pick and weigh some today. $15 to $28 per lb. sounds
interesting.

Thanks,

I'm selling 1/3 pound bags for $5, repeatedly cutting the tender
growing tips. I have to push samples at my market, but they taste so
good, I'm selling out.
