Bob, what is the advantage of the piston type? Thanks, Farmer

[mailto:market-farming-bounces AT lists.ibiblio.org] On Behalf Of sunnfarm AT netscape.com I also use Solo. They are the best in back paks I prefer the
piston pump though the diaphram pump is ok too. The only problem is the cheap
spray wands. I keep one seperate just for herbicides. Look for pricing under
$90 US. Spraying two acres is not easy with a hydraulic backpak there is just
too much foliage to get into. You will never do a good job with any hand
sprayer. I have used backpak gas powered airblast mist blowers that are better
but a hassel to fuel and maintain... You really need to look into a tractor
mounted high pressure boom sprayer... Bob. Sunny Meadow Farm
