Hi all, I am wondering what other farmers are using to sell strawberries in. I was using green plastic baskets. Really liked the way the strawberries held up. Then ran out of those and started using plastic clam shells. The strawberries went bad in these really quickly (got squishy). I can't find more of the basket type and would prefer to move away from plastic. Anyone got a source for the cardboard version of those basket type?????? greetings from wet North Eastern Wa alicia Date: Tue, 30 Mar 2010 12:59:21 -0400 From: liz AT marketfarmshoptalk.com To: market-farming AT lists.ibiblio.org Subject: [Market-farming] oversize posts to group Hey everyone, just a reminder to watch the size of your posts. We're having many posts hang up for moderation due to posters replying to long threads and including all those posts in their reply. Your post will go through if you remember to only include the part of the post readers need to refresh their memories or to which you're replying. And do not include images in your posts. The post limit is 20k. Just to give you an idea, the size of this post is 1k, so alot of information can be included in a post without it getting held for moderation. Most posts that include a bit of a previous post & an html signature average well under the limit. just some info on how to see your posts sooner rather than later! Liz Pike MF List Administrator |
