I have grown over 30 crops of pumpkins and have tried every possible weed
control method and combination. They all work and the next year they don't.
Using herbicides is generally the most reliable. Pumpkin herbicides are very
fussy on how they are applied and incorperated but are worth the expence.
Most pumpkin herbicides are compatable with many other vegetable crops so the
cost can be spread out. There is a very important learning curve on how to
apply them. Talk to your county agents for advise that is what your paying
them for... Bob.

Just looking for some tips/ advice on weed control in pumpkin crops. Weeds
seem to be our biggest problem- just wanted to know what others have tried.

Thanks
