Dang Scott, that's the same thing we do. I guess it works, the crops do fine and no one has died. Bill in Texas

Regarding free range livestock and food safety--we train the wild rabbits to stay on the perimeter of our fields, the raccoons to defecate only the headlands, the deer to wait to relieve themselves until they are over at the neighbors, and tell flocks of birds that they may not fly over our farm without putting a tarp over all of the vegetables....
