Just got this email from growing for market:
NEW hoophouse cost-share program
USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service has created a cost-share program for specialty crop
growers to purchase hoophouses. Thirty-eight states have signed on for the pilot program. NRCS
officials are still working on the details of the program, which will be part of the Environmental
Quality Incentives Program (EQIP). A statement on the Connecticut NRCS website states that EQIP may
pay up to 75% of the cost of a hoophouse (also known as a high tunnel or seasonal tunnel). NRCS is
expected to make a formal announcement with full information soon, and we'll post the press release
on our website as soon as we get it.

These are the states participating: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware,
Florida, Georgia, Pacific Islands, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts,
Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New
York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota,
Tennessee, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming
