Quickbooks, if you ever make invoices for restaurants, etc. Quicken can't make invoices. I used spreadsheets for the first year. Quickbooks is the way to go.

Greetings,
I have used both quick books and quicken. Both programs have been known
to create entries all by themselves, wasting an entire afternoon for you
while you try to balance the books. A spreadsheet works really well,
without the computer generated errors.
Bright Blessings,
Kim

Quickbooks is the standard. Ask your accountant, make sure you
interface there, that's the most important.
