Denver Urban Gardens is very successful at community gardens. I'd suggest contacting them for information on their process/land use agreements, etc. Not sure of the url -but a google search should turn them up. I know there has been lots of emails about setting up community gardens- but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for- so apologies if this topic has been covered. I'm looking for any information related to starting a community garden. We are one year into our community garden on Temple universities' Ambler campus. I'm in charge of redefining the gardener's agreement as well as starting some projects related to the gardens (committees, educational events, and a relationship with a local food pantry). Are there any reference websites or articles for starting a community garden? I'm looking specifically to see other garden's agreements and how they best work on a volunteer basis. Thanks so much for any help you might have! John Paul Endicott |
