When my husband sees the first lightening bugs of the year he always says
it's time to plant cotton! (We don't grow cotton)
A few years ago I started writing down when the Red buds bloomed, the apple
tree, the daffodils. The dates have varied so much from year to year that I
don't see a connection.
This is an interesting topic though!
