This posting reminded me of another
cutting tool tool, which is worn on the finger but in a manner
perpendicular to the knuckle knife and is worn on the inside of the hand.
When I first read about he knuckle knife on this posting I was picturing
something something similar and more sturdy.. The tool I'm refering to is
a scissor with a ring in the side. I'd like to find or make a knife like
that as it could be about as rugged as most harvesting knives and more
convienient, maybe I should just invent one LOL. I'd put the sharp
side away from the thumb and hooked a bit. Anyway the scissors
were made by Wiss, a leading manufacturer of tools like tin snips
etc. The blades are replaceable, something like a utility
knife, and razor sharp. There are also all metal ones but the blades
aren't replaceable and not as sharp. Here is a link if you are
