Wyatt - I've worked with both spaders and they are both good. I think I found the celli more 'elegant' than the tortella. I was never impressed with the deep work of a spader but I'm certainly impressed by the bed prep a spader does. I'd advise you to chisel plow once a year and use the spader on your beds/fields as necessary the rest of the season. I really never believed the 'spaders fracture the soil 3 ft deep' salesman's line. -Allan in Shepherdstown, WV
