For the types of material you are spraying don't use filters any finer than 50 mesh anywhere in the system.
I prefer flat fan nylon nozzles and a 300 psi piston pump... Bob.

Hi all,
We're working on a new spray system for row crop vegetables. PTO pump driven - etc.
Anyone have any insights and experiences with the efficacy and functionality of various spray tips. We plan to use pre and post tank filtration as well as nozzle filters.
We'll be applying materials such as;
- BT (occasionally with fish oil)
- compost tea / fish emulsion
- copper and/or sulfur (on rare occasions)
- Surround
Any thoughts appreciated...
