A good sweet corn yield is one marketable ear per linear ft of row. An
exceptional yield is two ears per ft of row and an average profitable yield
is one ear per two linear ft of row. Rows can be 20 to 40 inches apart. A
marketable ear is what ever the buyer wants, usually a marketable ear is one
free of worms, filled to the tip which is not easily attained by organic
